Community's back!

I am delighted by the latest Community ep! I admit that it occasionally got very slightly awkward for me with everyone who objected to marriage turning out to believe that relationships don't work rather than having objections to the formalised structure, but at least Andre and Shirley were reasonable at the end and it's not like Shirley was not always portrayed as the type who did care. And she also gets to care about having a business! And is shown to be fairly competent at it! It would also be kind of nice if Greendale continued to be shown as kind of a faily place, but one that does help people out. I really feel like people were responding to that very well in the first season (it was definitely a feature of most of the posts that convinced me to give it a shot) and they sort of drifted away from that to make Greendale only ridiculous, but it would be kind of neat if they went back to that a bit (especially if they do get a fourth season and they all graduate! Which would be awesome, though I don't know if it's likely... *worried*)

Troy and Abed were so adorable and I enjoyed how excessive normality was depicted as being a bit weird as well, while the show also continued the theme from Studies in Modern Movement about creativity and weirdness being important and fun, but not actually overriding everything else and compromise being sort of important: don't show up at your friend's party pretending to be sidewalk when they just want you to come have fun, but you don't have to pretend to be like everyone else either.

Not the most perfect episode or anything, but charming! And I am so excited for it to be back, you guys!
