It's so thoughtful of the NHL to release all of their terrible pictures, so that now we know the first few flag shots we saw were the barest tip of this aesthetic nightmare. Why is everyone so grey? And terrified! Who decided that clutching your stick like you think someone might steal it was a good decision? Who thought nervous and suspicious was to be their main aesthetic? I just want to roll around in all of the bad decisions. :D

(I know everything has hideous watermarks, but rest assured, the full ugly comes right through.)

Not to mention the sheer relief of discovering that Ryan Getzlaf has finally given up on hair.

You have a point, but I'm not sure that his current status is much more aesthetic? Hats, possibly. That may have to be his thing.

EStaal does look self-consciously noble about it. Sadly, he insisted on wearing his casual clothes, which I am never getting over. It's just a huge mess of amazingly bad decisions. :D
